Drink, Slay, Love - Sarah Beth Durst More of my reviews at The Cozy Reading Corner

Sarah Beth Durst is a genius!!! I loved this Drink, Slay, Love; the whole concept was unlike anything I've ever read! The main character- Pearl, was very easy to love. Even though she had done some bad stuff you were always able to forgive her at the end of the day. I also loved Evan, Bethany, and the unicorn!!! Yes, there really was a unicorn and I loved it! All the other characters in the book were also very likeable and they all felt like a motley crew with the vampire as their leader.
The vampires in the book were basically the "original" kind of vampire (no sparkles), they were set up in Families and were very scary, hard-core and blood-thirsty. Needless to say, I didn't like them very much, especially Jadrien! In the Families, you had your Mother and Father, who were the leader. And then the Mother and Father answered to the vampire King, who was pretty much evil personified.
Now, the unicorn-theory in the book was very original! I've never read anything like it! I can't really say anymore about it because I don't want to give away spoilers. Overall, this was a very good book that I think everyone will enjoy! And I really hope there is a sequel in the works! :))

In reality, I would rate this book: 4.5/5 Stars!
