Wow.
All In has definitely changed my opinion of the series! While I thought the first book, Naked, was ok- I didn't really feel a big connection to the characters. But reading this book from Ethan's POV has provided that missing connection and has caused me to appreciate the first book more, which is why I changed my initial 2-star rating of Naked to 3-stars. All In begins right where Naked left off, except you get to read the story from Ethan Blackstone's POV and therefore have no idea what Brynne is thinking. I really enjoyed getting a glimpse of Ethan and his thought process. He really loves Brynne and I was shocked to see that he had a vulnerability about him that ultimately made him more likeable. While I really, really enjoyed the story; there were faults. For instance, nothing actually happens for 90% of the book. The story was at a stale-mate, which would normally have been boring except I was actually enjoying Ethan and Brynne's relationship. When things finally start to pick up and you once again see the point of the story, it ends (rather abruptly). But Raine Miller managed to hook me by giving you a little tease from the third book in the Blackstone Affair series and that was a real cliffhanger. As a result, I am eagerly awaiting the release of Eyes Wide Open, which is a big improvement from how I felt at the end of Naked. :))
